Public Relations Virtual Assistant

The ideal candidate is a self-starter with sharp PR instincts and the ability to take full ownership of communications strategy with minimal direction.

Key Responsibilities:

• Write and distribute professional press releases that build brand awareness, credibility, and media interest
• Research, develop, and maintain targeted media lists for ongoing PR outreach campaigns
• Pitch brand stories, features, and narratives to journalists, bloggers, and media outlets
• Identify and coordinate podcast guest appearances and speaking engagement opportunities for company leadership
• Manage and produce strategic content across Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, and YouTube
• Use AI-powered social media tools such as ManyChat and multi-login platforms to automate and optimize audience engagement
• Develop and execute social media marketing strategies that meaningfully go beyond generic content posting
• Monitor media coverage, track PR campaign performance, and submit regular performance reports
• Develop a thorough understanding of the company's products, services, and brand voice to represent the business accurately in all communications
• Support general administrative and operational tasks during lighter PR periods

Mandatory Skills:

• Proven experience in public relations, including press release writing, media outreach, and journalist pitching
• Strong social media management skills across Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, and YouTube
• Proficiency with AI-powered marketing and automation tools such as ManyChat, multi-login platforms, ChatGPT, or comparable tools
• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills
• Demonstrated ability to take initiative, work independently, and drive projects forward with minimal supervision
• Strong research skills for building media lists and identifying new PR opportunities
• Reliable, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities simultaneously without losing quality

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with podcast booking and coordinating speaking engagements for business leaders
• Background in PR or marketing for tech startups or SaaS companies
• Familiarity with media monitoring and coverage tracking tools
• Experience building and executing content strategies that produce measurable engagement growth
