MOTORPOOL OFFICER
Job Description:
Responsible for overseeing and coordinating the maintenance, repair, utilization, and monitoring of company vehicles, heavy equipment, and machinery used in construction projects. Ensures preventive maintenance schedules are followed, vehicle registrations and permits are up to date, fuel consumption is monitored, and equipment downtime is minimized.Maintains accurate records and coordinates with project teams, drivers, operators, and service providers to ensure efficient fleet operations.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Automotive Technology, Logistics, or a related field is an advantage
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Motorpool Officer in the construction industry
- Knowledge of fleet management, vehicle maintenance, and heavy equipment operations
- Experience in monitoring fuel consumption, repairs, and preventive maintenance schedules
- Strong organizational, leadership, and problem-solving skills
- Proficient in MS Office and fleet monitoring/reporting systems
- Familiar with vehicle registration, permits, and compliance requirements
- Can work with minimal supervision and handle multiple priorities
