COMPANY PROFILE:
La Nueva started in 1933 as a cold store named Tong Guan, selling imported wines and canned goods in Magallanes St., Cebu City. It was founded by Uy Chun Tong, who immigrated from Amoy, China.
During World War II, the store had to close down after getting hit by aerial bombs. But right after the War, it opened its door again for business on the same location under the new name “La Nueva,” which is a Spanish word that means “The New.”
During the ‘70’s, La Nueva started to evolve by selling grocery items for wholesale and retail. The business grew and was later known as La Nueva Grocery.
During the ‘80’s it was named La Nueva Supermart, as it started selling a full line of grocery products.
Currently, La Nueva Supermart is one of the leading local grocery store chains in Cebu operating in four (4) branches spread all over Metro Cebu, offering a wide variety of grocery items, and school and office supplies.

To provide ABSOLUTE CUSTOMER SATISFACTION by offering the right assortment of basic goods, best value, and excellent service.
VISION:
To be the PREFERRED supplier of basic goods to the Filipino individuals at BASIC PRICES.

Qualifications:
- Graduate of BS in Human Resources, Psychology, or any relevant field.
- With or without experience
- Good oral and written English communication skills
- Computer Literate
- Able to handle pressure and can work with less
- Highly Organized
- Proven problem-solving and conflict resolution skills with a fair, unbiased approach.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build trust and maintain confidentiality.
