The Food & Beverage Supervisor oversees the daily operations of dining areas, ensuring excellent customer service, smooth workflow, and adherence to quality and safety standards. This role involves supervising staff, coordinating service, and supporting management in achieving operational goals.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervise and coordinate activities of service staff (servers, bartenders, hosts)
Ensure high standards of customer service and guest satisfaction
Monitor dining area operations to ensure efficient and smooth service
Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and feedback professionally
Assist in staff training, scheduling, and performance evaluation
Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards
Coordinate with kitchen staff to ensure timely and accurate order delivery
Monitor inventory levels of food, beverages, and supplies
Assist in controlling costs and minimizing waste
Prepare daily reports and assist in administrative tasks
Ensure proper setup and cleanliness of dining and service areas
Qualifications/Requirements- Bachelor’s Degree in Hospitality Management, Tourism, Business Administration, or related field
- Minimum 4 years of experience as an F&B Supervisor or in a similar leadership role within the hospitality industry
- Strong operational and people management skills, with the ability to lead, train, and motivate a team
- Excellent customer service orientation with strong problem-solving and guest handling abilities
- Proficient in inventory management, stock control, and cost control to ensure operational efficiency
- Solid understanding of food and beverage operations, including menu planning, ordering, and pricing strategies
- Knowledgeable in health, safety, and sanitation regulations within the hospitality industry
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills for effective team coordination and guest relations
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining service quality
- Strong leadership mindset with decision-making and conflict resolution skills
- Detail-oriented, organized, and committed to achieving operational and financial targets
