Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business with finance or accounting focus, or equivalent experience
  • 1-3 years of experience in an accounting or finance specialist role
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ability to adapt quickly to new systems
  • Experience with Cognos, TM1, Salesforce, and SharePoint preferred
  • Strong technical knowledge of accounting and financial systems
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and research skills
  • Sound judgment and decision-making capability
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with clear data presentation
  • High level of organization and attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple projects under pressure with flexibility and resilience
  • Team-oriented mindset with strong cross-functional collaboration skills
Key Responsibilities
Financial & Accounting Support
  • Monitor financial processes and evaluate business controls; recommend and implement improvements
  • Utilize financial systems such as Cognos, Viero, and Salesforce to input data, generate reports, and support research
  • Coordinate preparation of schedules, management reports, and internal reporting requirements
  • Liaise with clients to resolve collections or credit issues in collaboration with Account Executives and shared services
  • Process invoices, resolve paycheck and commission discrepancies, and prepare final checks
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local financial and accounting regulations
Administrative & Operational Support
  • Coordinate with vendors for maintenance, cleaning, copier repairs, and office services
  • Track and monitor trade activities, prize closet security, and disbursements
  • Order office supplies, food, and beverages; coordinate meetings, lunches, and events
  • Provide receptionist coverage and perform general office administration
  • Process I-9 documentation and manage offboarding requirements including asset collection
  • Maintain public FCC files and other compliance-related records
Customer Service & Collaboration
  • Maintain service-level agreements with internal and external stakeholders
  • Provide timely and quality responses to inquiries and requests
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to support operations and ensure seamless workflow
