The purpose of the Technical Support Analyst’s role is to deliver, manage and maintain B2BE’s global office ICT services and requirements. Further to that, the roles is also to assist the Technical Support Team Leader manage incidents, new requirements, the testing and implementation of new software, upgrading of office hardware and the asset management of software, licenses, hardware, DNS, certificates and warranties

Responsibility:

  • Provide office ICT administration related support and guidance to the B2BE users for the overall usage of office equipment (Desktop, Laptops, printers, wifi, VOIP, mobile phone etc.) and software applications (software licenses, antivirus, Microsoft office etc.);
  • Maintain and provide proactive recommendations regarding renewal requirements for B2BE’s software licenses, domain names, SSL certificates, system warranties etc. within all environments to the Technical Support Team Leader;
  • Maintain and update B2BE’s ICT hardware and software asset tracking to ensure complete tagging based on B2BE’s inventory management process;
  • Continually review and update administration and standardisation related documentation to ensure it is kept up to date and can be utilised as an accurate reference for future employees within the team;
  • Provide regular feedback to the Technical Support Team Leader regarding the incident management processes and proactively recommend measures and solutions to eliminate the re-occurrence of problems and issues across the B2BE’s office environment.

Requirements:

  • 3 to 5 years’ experience and/or a relevant IT degree or Microsoft Certifications
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
  • Basic knowledge in Windows server, Active Directory and Group Policies
  • Must have exposure to windows 7, 10, 11, MacOS and Linux operating systems
  • Should know the basic installation and configuration of computer hardware, software, wireless networks, printers and scanners
  • Eager to learn new technologies
  • High level of motivation and energy
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Amenable to work in shifting schedule
