Key Responsibilities:
A. Document Drafting and Management- Assist in drafting contracts, loan agreements, legal notices, affidavits, waivers, and demand letters.
- Organize and maintain a secure and up-to-date filing system for all legal documents, contracts, and case files.
- Prepare legal templates and standard document formats for recurring use.
- Conduct legal research on statutes, regulations, jurisprudence, and administrative issuances relevant to corporate, labor, and financial laws.
- Assist in preparing case briefs, memoranda, and legal strategies for both internal and external legal matters.
- Track key legal deadlines, such as contract expirations, renewal dates, government filing schedules, and litigation timelines.
- Assist in preparing and organizing documentation for internal audits, external compliance inspections, and legal reporting.
- Maintain and update legal databases, logs, case status reports, and contract tracking tools.
- Schedule meetings, hearings, and internal legal consultations.
- Assist in the preparation of presentations and reports for management on legal matters.
- Organize and maintain records of litigation, dispute resolution, and incident reports involving legal concerns.
- Assist the Legal Counsel with special projects such as policy drafting, due diligence reviews, or legal risk assessments.
- Assist in the review of internal documents from other divisions.
- Handle confidential and sensitive legal matters with discretion and professionalism.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Law graduate (Juris Doctor or Bachelor of Laws).
- Minimum 1 year experience in a paralegal or legal assistant role, preferably with experience working in a law firm.
- Strong knowledge of legal procedures, contract structure, and documentation.
- Experience in corporate legal departments or financial / lending institutions is preferred.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and legal document management tools.
- Familiarity with corporate, civil, and labor laws applicable in the Philippines.
- Ability to meet deadlines.
