Key Responsibilities:

 A.  Document Drafting and Management
  1. Assist in drafting contracts, loan agreements, legal notices, affidavits, waivers, and demand letters.
  2. Organize and maintain a secure and up-to-date filing system for all legal documents, contracts, and case files.
  3. Prepare legal templates and standard document formats for recurring use.
 B.  Legal Research and Case Preparation
  1. Conduct legal research on statutes, regulations, jurisprudence, and administrative issuances relevant to corporate, labor, and financial laws.
  2. Assist in preparing case briefs, memoranda, and legal strategies for both internal and external legal matters.
 C.  Compliance and Regulatory Monitoring
  1. Track key legal deadlines, such as contract expirations, renewal dates, government filing schedules, and litigation timelines.
  2. Assist in preparing and organizing documentation for internal audits, external compliance inspections, and legal reporting.
 D.  Administrative and Case Management Tasks
  1. Maintain and update legal databases, logs, case status reports, and contract tracking tools.
  2. Schedule meetings, hearings, and internal legal consultations.
  3. Assist in the preparation of presentations and reports for management on legal matters.
  4. Organize and maintain records of litigation, dispute resolution, and incident reports involving legal concerns.
 E.  Other Legal-related Tasks
  1. Assist the Legal Counsel with special projects such as policy drafting, due diligence reviews, or legal risk assessments.
  2. Assist in the review of internal documents from other divisions.
  3. Handle confidential and sensitive legal matters with discretion and professionalism.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Law graduate (Juris Doctor or Bachelor of Laws).
  • Minimum 1 year experience in a paralegal or legal assistant role, preferably with experience working in a law firm.
  • Strong knowledge of legal procedures, contract structure, and documentation.
  • Experience in corporate legal departments or financial / lending institutions is preferred.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and legal document management tools.
  • Familiarity with corporate, civil, and labor laws applicable in the Philippines.
  • Ability to meet deadlines.
