QUALIFICATION STANDARDS:

EDUCATION : Graduate of any Bachelor’s degree in Legal Management, Political Science, or related field
TRAINING : Not required; paralegal training or certification is preferred

EXPERIENCE : 1-2 years’ experience as a paralegal or legal assistant or in a legal support role.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

  1. Land Due Diligence & Documentation
  • Conduct and support due diligence for land acquisition, lease, land use conversion, and right-of-way (ROW) agreements.
  • Gather, review, and validate land documents (titles, tax declarations, survey plans, ownership records).
  • Coordinate verification with the Register of Deeds and relevant agencies.
  1. Contracts & Transaction Support
  • Assist in drafting and preparing property-related agreements (Deeds of Sale, Lease Agreements, Easements, ROW contracts).
  • Ensure completeness of documentation and supporting requirements for transactions.
  • Manage document execution, notarization, filing, and records organization
  1. Regulatory Compliance & Government Coordination
  • Process permits, clearances, and certifications with DENR, DAR, LRA, Register of Deeds, and LGUs.
  • Track submissions, approvals, and compliance timelines.
  • Maintain accurate records of regulatory filings and ensure timely completion of requirements.
  1. Project, Dispute & Case Support
  • Support project and business development teams by tracking land acquisition status and requirements.
  • Assist in securing land rights, permits, and documentation for project execution.
  • Prepare and organize documents for land-related disputes and coordinate with external counsel as needed
  1. Records Management & Reporting
  • Maintain a centralized database of land documents, contracts, permits, and case files.
  • Track status of acquisitions, documentation, and compliance requirements.
  • Prepare regular reports and ensure proper safekeeping and confidentiality of records.
  1. Other Duties
  • Provide transactional and documentation support to other business units to ensure consistent compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
  • Assist in preparing and organizing documents for affiliates and subsidiaries within the Group of Companies
  • Perform other duties as assigned by Management to support business objectives and evolving organizational requirements.
