PROJECT ENGINEER (CEBU)

Job Summary:

The Project Engineer is responsible for overseeing the technical aspects of network provisioning, including the preparation of studies, circuit designs, and cost analysis. The role includes providing technical advice to the sales team and customers, ensuring the successful implementation of projects, and managing the activation of circuits while maintaining effective communication with stakeholders.

Key Duties & Responsibilities:

• Prepare detailed technical studies and circuit designs for customer network provisioning, ensuring that all solutions meet operational and performance standards.
• Provide technical guidance to the sales department and customers on network design, performance, operation, and maintenance, ensuring the most effective solutions are recommended.
• Coordinate with all concerned entities, including internal departments and external partners, to ensure the efficient and timely implementation of projects and service delivery.
• Ensure that all project documentation is complete, accurate, and up-to-date.
• Monitor the availability of customer premise equipment (CPE) and materials required for service delivery, ensuring that all necessary resources are available on time.
• Maintain and safeguard the database of circuits, ensuring that all relevant information is stored securely and can be easily accessed for future reference.
• Perform job-related duties and tasks as assigned or as needed, ensuring flexibility in handling evolving project needs.

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Electronics/Electronics Communication).
• Knowledgeable in Customer Network Engineering/Application.
• Strong understanding of network design, circuit provisioning, and technical analysis.
• Proficient in at least three of the following areas:
• LAN/WAN
• VLAN, Ethernet/IP technologies
• DWDM/OTN
• Multiplexers, modems, and CPE
• Computer literacy with proficiency in AutoCAD, Windows, and MS Office software.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
