Remote Pharmacist - MENTAL HEALTH EXPERT - Quezon City

We are seeking an experienced Remote Pharmacist with strong expertise in mental health, particularly in monitoring and auditing prescribing practices. In this role, you will combine clinical knowledge with technology by supporting medication verification, claims compliance, and patient onboarding using AI-driven tools.

This is a non-customer-facing, fully remote position, where you’ll collaborate with internal teams to ensure patient safety, regulatory compliance, and operational efficiency while contributing to best practices in mental health prescribing.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Monitor and audit prescribing practices, with emphasis on psychotropic medications.
• Ensure compliance with mental health treatment guidelines, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Identify prescribing risks or inconsistencies and escalate as needed.
• Provide structured feedback to optimize safe, effective, and ethical prescribing in mental health care.

• Use AI-powered tools to verify medications packed into dose-ready sachets.
• Cross-check prescriptions to confirm dosage, form, and quantity.
• Identify and flag missing or duplicate tablets; remove packaging debris.
• Report patients with incomplete visual data (e.g., black screens) for repackaging.
• Provide structured feedback to improve AI accuracy.

• Review insurance/government claims for accuracy and compliance.
• Verify eligibility for financial assistance programs.
• Resolve documentation issues prior to claim submission.
• Coordinate with billing teams to expedite the claims process.

• Migrate and validate patient data from new hospitals and nursing homes.
• Reconcile imported data for completeness and accuracy.
• Collaborate with onboarding teams via VOIP to ensure a smooth transition.

• Process monthly medication orders by validating and inputting requests.
• Respond to client queries from nursing homes and hospitals regarding:
• Order confirmation
• Delivery schedules
• General concerns

• Active pharmacist license (state or national, as applicable)
• Minimum 2 years in pharmacy operations, clinical pharmacy, or claims management
• Experience in mental health pharmacy, including monitoring and auditing prescribing practices
• Strong analytical and documentation skills; detail-oriented and organized
• Proficiency with pharmacy tech platforms and AI-enabled tools
• Ability to manage multiple priorities independently in a remote setup

• Experience with dose-packaging systems (sachets or blister packs)
• Familiarity with AI applications in pharmacy or healthcare
• Background in processing insurance claims or financial assistance programs
• Previous work in healthcare settings such as hospitals, nursing homes, or mental health facilities
