This position requires compassion, patience, and the ability to handle physical and emotional caregiving tasks in a respectful and dignified manner.

• Key Responsibilities:
• Assist the elderly with bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting.
• Help with mobility and transfers (e.g., from bed to wheelchair).
• Maintain personal hygiene and monitor skin health.
• Health & Medication Support
• Remind or assist with medication intake as prescribed.
• Monitor vital signs, dietary intake, and hydration.
• Accompany the elderly to medical appointments, therapy, or check-ups.
• Companionship & Emotional Support
• Provide companionship and emotional reassurance.
• Engage in light conversation, reading, or leisure activities.
• Observe and report changes in mood, behavior, or cognitive function.
• Assist with meal preparation, feeding (if necessary), and ensuring a nutritious diet.
• Perform light housekeeping in the patient’s area (e.g., making the bed, tidying, laundry).
• Maintain a clean and safe environment free from hazards.

Qualifications:

• High school graduate or equivalent.
• TESDA-certified in Caregiving NC II or similar training program is strongly preferred.
• At least 1–2 years of experience in elderly care, home health care, or caregiving.
• Experience with conditions such as Alzheimer’s, dementia, stroke recovery, or mobility impairments is a plus.

Requirements:

• Compassionate, patient, and respectful toward the elderly.
• Knowledgeable in basic caregiving practices, hygiene, and elder safety.
• Physically able to assist with lifting, walking support, and long hours of care.
• Good communication skills and ability to follow routines and instructions.
• Trustworthy, with a strong sense of confidentiality and integrity.
• Willing to work stay-in or shift-based schedules, including weekends or holidays.
• May be required to undergo background check, medical clearance, and first aid/CPR certification.
