The Regulatory Compliance Associate’s responsibility is to help the compliance team with various projects and on-going tasks. He/She shall be responsible for the preparation and processing of all necessary permits (e.g., 8105, 8106, 8112, etc.) for all sites in relation to new asset purchases, asset transfers, and asset disposals, among others.
He/She shall also be responsible for the preparation of the of all monthly, quarterly, and annual PEZA reportorial requirements (e.g., TIMTA, EZMPR, Labor Situationer) subject to the review and approval of the Supervisor/Manager. Likewise, he shall also assist in the preparation of the documents required for ITH validation and ITH extension applications.He/She shall work under the direction of the Regulatory Compliance Supervisor.
In addition, he/she will support different areas of PEZA & BOI compliance as follows:
- Assist in the registration of new and expansion sites with PEZA and BOI
- Monitoring asset transfer/disposal requests on the company’s ticketing facility and ensure that we are the team is always up-to-date and all internal and external compliance requirements are being met.
- Maintain required certificates after start of commercial operations
- Liquidation of PEZA permits and LOAs
- Assists in the preparation and filing of regular reports to BOI as covered in the Monitoring (Annual) Reports Monitoring | Board of Investments (boi.gov.ph)
- Review of billing invoices and purchase orders
- Coordinate with Asset Management and Fixed Asset Team on completed asset transfers
- Serve as liaison officer to different government agencies, as necessary
- Manage the safekeeping and filing of all relevant government and internal documentation for the site
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or other four year degree with equivalent accounting experience.
- Must have one (1) to two (2) years relevant experience.
- With experience in handling the different compliance requirements of BPO companies.
- Must have experience dealing with Philippine Economic Zone Authority.
