Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Human Resource Director with a proven track record in the BPO (Business Process Outsourcing) industry. The ideal candidate is a strategic HR leader who has served as an HR Manager or Director for at least three (3) years in a call center or BPO environment.This role requires expertise in recruitment strategy, labor law compliance, and workplace safety, with preference given to candidates with a background in employment law or a licensed attorney.
Job Responsibilities:
- Lead and oversee the entire Human Resources function including talent acquisition, employee engagement, labor relations, performance management, compensation & benefits, and compliance.
- Design and execute innovative recruitment strategies to support rapid scaling and operational needs of the BPO business.
- Build and manage high-performing HR teams, ensuring recruitment and HR operations meet business KPIs and SLAs.
- Serve as the company’s chief advisor on employment law matters, ensuring compliance with Philippine labor laws, DOLE regulations, and industry best practices.
- Serve as the designated Safety Officer or supervise the implementation and compliance of the company’s Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) programs, ensuring alignment with DOLE standards and local regulations. Collaborate closely with the EHS (Environmental, Health, and Safety) team and Facilities Department to maintain a safe, hazard-free, and legally compliant workplace environment for all employees.
- Guide organizational transformation, cultural alignment, and HR systems optimization.
- Handle employee relations cases, legal investigations, and partner with external counsel when needed.
- Work closely with leadership to develop workforce planning, succession strategies, and employee development initiatives.
- Lead audits, risk assessments, and HR compliance reviews.
- Currently working as HR Manager or HR Director in a BPO or call center environment for at least 3 years.
- Proven success in leading end-to-end recruitment strategies and managing large recruitment teams.
- Must have practical experience serving as a Safety Officer, with a strong understanding of workplace health and safety protocols. Preferably holds BOSH/COSH, or other DOLE-accredited safety training certifications to ensure compliance with occupational safety standards and regulatory requirements.
- Strong knowledge of Philippine employment law; attorney or employment law expert highly preferred.
- Master's degree, JD, or bar membership is a plus.
