Accounting Assistant
Supports financial planning and analysis, which may include collecting financial information, correcting and reconciling accounting reports, report, preparation, meeting coordination, etc. Reviews, codes and processes financial information. Collects and manages data in spreadsheets and databases.Provides audit support as needed.
About the job:
- Provides timely preparation of Business unit backlog and volume-price-mix analysis
- Prepares monthly Selling spending report and assists in gathering quarterly forecast information from cost center owners.
- Assists in updating monthly Financial and Gross Profit schedules of EBU.
- Supports all annual financial planning activities.
- Performs other reporting and analysis required by the management.
- Other duties as assigned.
About you:
- Associate degree, two-year technical/trade degree, or equivalent preferred
- Five to seven years of experience
- Previous experience supporting finance or accounting preferred
- Proficient in MS Office
- Analytical skills
- Strong communication skills
- High attention to detail
