Travel Coordinator
The Travel Coordinator is responsible for planning, coordinating, and managing travel logistics for mobile healthcare teams, including clinicians, operational staff, and support personnel. This role ensures efficient travel arrangements, cost control, and seamless coordination of transportation, accommodation, and itineraries to support mobile clinic deployments.The Travel Coordinator works closely with operations, logistics, and finance teams to ensure staff arrive at service locations on time and travel plans align with clinic schedules.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Make sure travel activities are properly tracked and resolve issues encountered during travel period.
- Monitors travels in a 2-shift window.
- Provide cost-effective travel bookings.
- Responsible for traveler's requests and cost liquidation.
- Responsible for traveler's insurance.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Tourism, Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or any related field.
- At least 1–2 years of experience in travel coordination, travel management, or administrative support is an advantage.
- Knowledgeable in travel booking systems, airline reservations, hotel accommodations, and transportation arrangements.
- Strong ability to monitor and track travel activities and promptly resolve travel-related concerns.
- Capable of working in a rotating or 2-shift schedule.
- Skilled in sourcing and providing cost-effective travel options while maintaining service quality.
- Experience in handling travel documentation, reimbursement, and cost liquidation processes.
- Familiar with travel insurance processing and coordination.
- Excellent communication and personal relationship skills.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Ability to manage multiple travel requests and work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Must be willing to work on-site and on the night shift
