Job Summary:

We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Learning and Development Manager with a strong background in instructional design and client-facing engagements. This role requires a unique blend of learning strategy, content development, and business development support, particularly in responding to Requests for Proposals (RFPs) and delivering compelling client presentations.

The ideal candidate will be a collaborative leader who can translate business needs into impactful learning solutions while supporting growth initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

Learning & Development Strategy
  • Design and implement scalable learning programs aligned with organizational goals.
  • Conduct training needs analyses and develop competency frameworks.
  • Lead the development of instructional materials using modern learning methodologies (e.g., blended learning, microlearning, eLearning).
Instructional Design & Development
  • Create engaging and effective learning content using tools such as Articulate, Adobe Captivate, or similar.
  • Apply adult learning principles and instructional design models (ADDIE, SAM, etc.).
  • Evaluate learning effectiveness and continuously improve programs based on feedback and performance metrics.
Client Engagement & RFP Support
  • Collaborate with business development teams to craft tailored L&D solutions for client proposals.
  • Lead the L&D component of RFP responses, including solution design, pricing, and delivery models.
  • Deliver persuasive client presentations showcasing L&D capabilities and solutions.
  • Act as a subject matter expert in meetings with prospective clients and stakeholders.
Project Management
  • Manage multiple learning projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery and quality.
  • Coordinate with internal teams and external vendors to execute learning initiatives.
  • Monitor budgets, timelines, and resource allocation for L&D projects.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Education, Instructional Design, Human Resources, or related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in Learning & Development, with at least 2 years in a client-facing or proposal development role.
  • Proven experience in instructional design and learning technologies.
  • Strong writing and presentation skills, especially in crafting RFP responses and client pitches.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Familiarity with LMS platforms and data analytics tools for learning evaluation.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience in consulting or professional services environments.
  • Certification in instructional design or project management (e.g., CPLP, PMP).
