We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Accounting Manager to oversee the daily operations of the accounting department. The Accounting Manager will be responsible for managing financial reporting, enforcing internal controls, leading month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, and supporting strategic financial planning.

Job Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Proven work experience for more than 5 years as managerial level.
• Certified Public Accountant or Certified Tax Technician is an advantage.
• Experience to handle a multiple companies in retail industry is an advantage.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
• Advanced computer skills on MS Office, accounting software and databases.
• Proven knowledge of bookkeeping and accounting principles, practices, standards, laws and regulations
• Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Detail-oriented with strong analytical skills.
• Willing to work in Bonifacio Global City, Taguig.

Job Requirements:

• Supervise and coordinate daily accounting activities, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries.
• Ensure timely and accurate processing of invoices, payments, and reconciliations.
• Monitor and analyze accounting data and produce financial reports or statements.
• Establish and enforce proper accounting methods, policies and principles.
• Coordinate and complete annual audits.
• Provide recommendations.
• Improve systems and procedures and initiate corrective actions.
• Assign projects and direct staff to ensure compliance and accuracy.
• Meet financial accounting objectives.
• Establish and maintain fiscal files and records to document transactions.
• Oversee daily operations of the accounting department, including accounts payable/receivable, general ledger, bank reconciliations, and tax compliance.
• Manage and support the accounting team, including hiring, training, and performance evaluation.
• Collaborate with other departments to support overall business objectives.
• Participate in financial audits and provide documentation as required.
