Purpose of role
The Internal Account Manager is responsible for managing a portfolio of domestic and international customers across the organization and Exchange businesses. The role focuses on nurturing relationships with existing accounts, identifying growth opportunities, and ensuring customer satisfaction through proactive engagement and tailored solutions.
Key responsibilities- Account Management: Oversee a portfolio of accounts, ensuring consistent communication, relationship development, and alignment with customer goals.
- Sales Growth: Identify and pursue upsell and cross-sell opportunities within existing accounts to maximize revenue potential.
- Customer Engagement: Act as a trusted advisor and key point of contact for customers, understanding their business needs and delivering solutions that support their objectives.
- Business Development: Support lead generation and new business acquisition efforts by identifying potential customers and market opportunities.
- Forecasting & Analysis: Provide analytical support including sales forecasting, performance tracking, and market insights to inform strategic decisions.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the Manager Partner Sales and other members of the Sales Team to ensure seamless customer experience and alignment with business goals.

Qualifications and experience- Entry to Mid-level experience in Account Management, Business Development, Sales, or other related disciplines.
- Experience managing commercial relationships with international and domestic Telecoms operators
- Demonstrated success in an account management or sales environment, with strong commercial acumen and negotiation experience
- Good experience within international wholesale telecommunications (across all areas e.g. Enterprise, OTT, Calling card, Mobile, Fixed line, cable)
- Good understanding of Carrier relationship management
- Relationship building and management skills, and strong presentation skills
