Key Responsibilities
- Front-Line Support: Act as the first point of contact for internal staff reporting technical issues via chat, email, or in-person.
- Workstation Deployment: Assist in the imaging, configuration, and setup of new laptops and desktop workstations.
- Troubleshooting: Diagnose basic hardware failures, software glitches, and connectivity issues across Windows and macOS environments.
- Peripherals & AV: Set up and maintain office equipment including printers, IP phones, and conference room audiovisual systems.
- Asset Management: Maintain an accurate inventory of IT assets (laptops, monitors, cables, and licenses).
- Knowledge Base: Help document recurring issues and create simple "self-help" guides for non-technical employees.
- Current Enrollment: Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Technical Literacy: Familiarity with PC hardware, basic knowledge with Mac and Windows OS and basic networking concepts (DNS, DHCP, IP).
- Soft Skills: Strong verbal and written communication; a "customer-first" mentality is a must.
- Curiosity: A high level of initiative and a desire to learn new technologies quickly.
Physical Ability: Must be comfortable occasionally lifting up to 25 lbs (e.g., moving monitors or desktop units).
