About the role

As a Senior Line Cook for The Moment Group, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional dining experiences for our customers. This full-time position is based in our restaurant in Paranaque City, Metro Manila, where you will work alongside a talented team to prepare high-quality, innovative dishes that reflect our commitment to culinary excellence.

What you'll be doing
  1. Assisting the Head Chef in overseeing daily kitchen operations and ensuring consistent food quality and presentation
  2. Preparing a variety of dishes to exacting standards, using fresh, seasonal ingredients
  3. Demonstrating strong time management and multitasking skills to efficiently manage the flow of service
  4. Maintaining a clean, organised and safe working environment in the kitchen
  5. Providing training and mentorship to junior kitchen staff to help develop their skills
  6. Collaborating with the culinary team to develop new menu items and improve existing recipes
  7. Ensuring compliance with all relevant health and safety regulations
What we're looking for
  1. Minimum of 5 years' experience as a Senior Line Cook or similar role in a high-volume, fast-paced restaurant environment
  2. Proven track record of delivering consistent, high-quality food and excellent customer service
  3. Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques, kitchen equipment and health and safety standards
  4. Ability to work well under pressure and thrive in a team-oriented environment
  5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  6. Passion for the culinary arts and a commitment to continuous learning and improvement

Job Description:

  • Oversee kitchen staff and coordinate food orders efficiently.
  • Supervise food preparation and cooking to maintain quality standards.
  • Ensure proper food plating and monitor serving temperatures.
  • Establish portion sizes to maintain consistency.
  • Schedule kitchen staff shifts and manage workflow.
  • Order food supplies and kitchen equipment as needed.
  • Train kitchen staff on prep work and food plating techniques.
  • Store food products in compliance with safety regulations.
Who can have a seat at the table?
  • Graduate or Undergraduate of any Hospitality Course.
  • Proven experience in the position of interest.
  • Physically fit and with no large, visible tattoos.
  • With good communication and memorization skills.
  • Great interpersonal and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to remain composed, particularly during stressful or uncomfortable circumstances.
  • Willingness to work on a shifting schedule.
  • Willingness to perform additional duties to facilitate the restaurant's operations, as needed.
