The Plant Manager is responsible for the overall planning, direction, coordination, and control of all steel manufacturing plant operations. This includes production efficiency, safety compliance, quality assurance, maintenance management, and workforce supervision.The role requires strong technical expertise in steel manufacturing processes and proven leadership in managing large-scale industrial plant operations to ensure optimal productivity, cost efficiency, and compliance with local and international standards.
Qualifications/Requirements- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or equivalent technical training and extensive industry experience
- With proven experience in steel manufacturing or heavy industrial plant operations
- Minimum 5 years of progressive experience in steel plant management or similar large-scale operations
- Strong technical knowledge of steel production processes
- Experience in managing high-capacity production
- Strong leadership and people management skills with experience handling multicultural teams
- Knowledge of international quality standards
- Excellent problem-solving, decision-making, and operational planning skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced industrial environment and relocate to the Philippines
- Familiarity with compliance requirements of Philippine industrial regulations is an advantage
