CAD OPERATOR Level III

Plan, assign, and monitor CAD tasks to ensure timely delivery and adherence to project standards and deadlines.
- Prepare and review design/shop drawing templates, guidelines, and settings.
- Conduct thorough self-checks and final reviews of drawings before submission.
- Ensure drawings are accurate, legible, and compliant with industry codes and standards.
- Perform complex and urgent CAD tasks based on design/construction drawings, site conditions, and specifications.
- Conduct site surveys for measurements and as-built drawing preparation when necessary.
- Coordinate with architectural, structural, and MEP teams to ensure drawing consistency and resolve conflicts.
- Attend coordination meetings and communicate progress with the CAD Manager, Project Manager, and other contractors.
- Train and mentor CAD Operators in software use, standards, and best practices.
- Provide technical guidance in interpreting specifications and utilizing CAD files.
- Assist in developing and implementing CAD standards and procedures.
- Review and ensure the quality and quantity of work meet required standards.
- Receive, register, file, and maintain CAD documents and drawings.
- Set up and manage an organized filing system for design and shop drawings.
- Provide CAD support to team members and stay updated with CAD technologies and practices.
- Assist in maintaining and upgrading CAD equipment and software.
