Logistics Coordinator

• Monitor all in-transit shipments
• Track and trace loads to ensure both on-time pickup and on-time delivery
• Learn nuances about the accounts and follow the same work flows and processes as the day shift team
• Proactively identity delays, service failures, or risks
• Communicate updates to customers on request
• Monitor Emails in real-time and respond to carriers
• Communicate issues to the team
• Ensures drivers are tracking properly, and that drivers have pickup numbers (we don't give these to drivers until they are on tracking)
• Manage Expectations when delays or issues occur
• Properly document notes and reflag active loads correctly in order of importance for the morning team
• Eventually, in-house training on posting recovery loads, pitching them, and vetting carriers. The carrier information would then be passed to management for review, and final decision on booking will be made and executed onshore.
