Job Description

We are seeking a licensed and compassionate Occupational Therapist to support students in developing the skills needed for academic success and daily functioning. The Occupational Therapist will work with students with developmental, physical, and sensory challenges, helping them improve fine motor skills, sensory processing, and independence within the school environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess students’ physical, sensory, and motor skills to identify areas of need
• Develop and implement individualized therapy plans aligned with students’ goals
• Provide one-on-one and small group therapy sessions
• Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and parents to support student progress
• Recommend and implement classroom accommodations and adaptive strategies
• Monitor, document, and report on student progress regularly
• Support students in developing fine motor skills, handwriting, self-care, and sensory regulation
• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and parent conferences
• Ensure compliance with school policies and professional standards

Work Environment:

• Private school setting with therapy rooms and classroom integration
• Works closely with teachers, SPED staff, and guidance counselors

Qualifications/Requirements

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy
• Valid license to practice Occupational Therapy (PRC licensed in the Philippines)
• Experience working with children, preferably in a school or pediatric setting
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Patient, empathetic, and student-focused approach

Preferred Skills:

• Experience in sensory integration therapy and fine motor development
• Familiarity with inclusive education practices
• Ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team
• Knowledge of assistive tools and adaptive equipment
