What is the job?

The Senior BSA Analyst is responsible for reviewing alerts from the AML system, investigating suspicious activities, and ensuring compliance with relevant AML laws and regulations.

Responsibilities:

• Review and investigate AML alerts, escalating suspicious activities when necessary.
• Assign and oversee alert resolution handled by junior analysts.
• Conduct due diligence (CDD/EDD) and ongoing monitoring for high-risk accounts.
• Prepare and review regulatory reports (SARs, CTRs) for accuracy and compliance.
• Perform risk assessments and periodic evaluations (e.g., RBRR) within AML systems.
• Support AML compliance efforts, including audits, documentation, and system/process troubleshooting.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field with solid banking experience
• At least 5 years of banking experience with knowledge of core banking systems and operations
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel, with exposure to BSA/AML systems preferred
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent English communication skills, with professionalism and ability to work independently
