Technical sales engineer

Qualifications, Education & Technical Capability:

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or Electronics and Communication Engineering
• 3–5 years of experience in industrial and power plant/substation
• A licensed Electrical Engineer (EE) or Electronics and Communication Engineer (ECE) is an advantage
• Having a valid driver's license is an advantage

Primary Responsibilities:

• Conduct sales and presentation seminars to generate leads and close sales.
• Educate prospects on equipment use, specifications and client benefits.
• Check and monitor performance of products sold to maintain after sales support.
• Prepare, review and provide sales/technical proposals.
• Monitoring and coordination of turn-key substation projects.
• Monitoring of tenders from clients and public biddings.
• Confer/Consult potential customers regarding equipment needs
• Coordinate, monitor, assist and supervise engineering services pertaining to electrical maintenance.
• Prepare, review and provide sales/technical proposals
• Conducts product demos and technical training to clients relative to the equipment sold.
• Provide proposals or service contracts repair work.
• Demonstrate to customers complete electrical testing and maintenance programs that will assist them in avoiding dangerous and costly electrical failures.

Additional Responsibilities:

• Performs other tasks as may be assigned by the Sales Director.
