Sales Operations Manager

Key responsibilities
  1. Develop, implement and continuously improve sales processes, workflows and best practices to enhance team productivity and efficiency
  2. Manage and optimise the sales operations technology stack, including CRM systems, sales analytics platforms and related tools
  3. Analyse sales data and generate actionable insights and reports to support strategic decision-making and performance tracking
  4. Collaborate with sales leadership to establish sales targets, forecasts and KPIs, monitoring progress against these metrics
  5. Design and facilitate sales training programmes, onboarding processes and knowledge management initiatives
  6. Oversee territory planning, account assignment and pipeline management to ensure optimal resource allocation
  7. Manage sales operations budgets, vendor relationships and procurement of sales enablement tools and resources
  8. Ensure compliance with sales policies, procedures and regulatory requirements across all sales activities
  9. Provide analytical and administrative support to the sales team, addressing operational challenges and bottlenecks
  10. Lead cross-functional projects that enhance sales capability, efficiency, and customer satisfaction
What we're looking for
  1. Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, Sales, or related field
  2. 5+ years of experience in sales operations, sales management, business analysis or related roles
  3. Proven expertise in sales process optimisation and process improvement methodologies
  4. Strong proficiency with CRM systems (Salesforce, HubSpot or similar platforms) and sales analytics tools
  5. Advanced skills in data analysis, reporting and presenting insights to senior stakeholders
  6. Excellent project management capabilities with the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously
  7. Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively across departments
  8. Demonstrated experience in implementing sales enablement tools and training programmes
  9. Detail-oriented with exceptional organisational and problem-solving abilities
  10. Experience with forecasting, pipeline management and territory planning
  11. Knowledge of sales metrics, KPIs and performance management frameworks
  12. Preferred: Experience in the technology or software industry; familiarity with Agile or Lean methodologies.
