Sales Operations Manager

Key responsibilities
- Develop, implement and continuously improve sales processes, workflows and best practices to enhance team productivity and efficiency
- Manage and optimise the sales operations technology stack, including CRM systems, sales analytics platforms and related tools
- Analyse sales data and generate actionable insights and reports to support strategic decision-making and performance tracking
- Collaborate with sales leadership to establish sales targets, forecasts and KPIs, monitoring progress against these metrics
- Design and facilitate sales training programmes, onboarding processes and knowledge management initiatives
- Oversee territory planning, account assignment and pipeline management to ensure optimal resource allocation
- Manage sales operations budgets, vendor relationships and procurement of sales enablement tools and resources
- Ensure compliance with sales policies, procedures and regulatory requirements across all sales activities
- Provide analytical and administrative support to the sales team, addressing operational challenges and bottlenecks
- Lead cross-functional projects that enhance sales capability, efficiency, and customer satisfaction
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, Sales, or related field
- 5+ years of experience in sales operations, sales management, business analysis or related roles
- Proven expertise in sales process optimisation and process improvement methodologies
- Strong proficiency with CRM systems (Salesforce, HubSpot or similar platforms) and sales analytics tools
- Advanced skills in data analysis, reporting and presenting insights to senior stakeholders
- Excellent project management capabilities with the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively across departments
- Demonstrated experience in implementing sales enablement tools and training programmes
- Detail-oriented with exceptional organisational and problem-solving abilities
- Experience with forecasting, pipeline management and territory planning
- Knowledge of sales metrics, KPIs and performance management frameworks
- Preferred: Experience in the technology or software industry; familiarity with Agile or Lean methodologies.
