We Are Hiring: Accounting Supervisor
At Cleanfuel, we are looking for an experienced Accounting Supervisor to lead and oversee our accounting team. As a key member of the finance department, you will ensure that day-to-day accounting operations run efficiently, guide junior team members, and contribute to the overall success of our financial processes.
Your Role:
As the Accounting Supervisor, you will:
- Supervise and mentor the accounting team, ensuring accurate and timely processing of financial transactions, journal entries, and reconciliations.
- Oversee the preparation of financial statements and reports, ensuring they align with company policies and regulatory requirements.
- Coordinate the monthly financial close process, reviewing account balances, journal entries, and reconciliations to ensure accuracy.
- Lead the implementation of improvements in accounting systems and processes, including ERP software updates and transitions (SAP or NetSuite).
- Collaborate with internal departments such as Audit, Tax, and Treasury to ensure accurate financial reporting and compliance.
- Manage and support internal and external audits, ensuring timely and efficient preparation of audit schedules, resolving inquiries, and ensuring audit findings are addressed.
What You Bring to the Table:
- CPA Certification with at least 3-5 years of experience in accounting, with a focus on supervisory roles.
- Proven experience in supervising a team and ensuring accuracy in daily accounting operations.
- Strong knowledge of financial reporting, account reconciliations, and accounting policies.
- Ability to implement process improvements and ensure compliance with financial regulations.
- Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP or NetSuite) and Microsoft Office applications.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to guide and collaborate effectively within a team-oriented environment.
