Procurement & data sourcing specialist

SUMMARY

The specialist will maintain procurement databases, analyze purchasing trends, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to support operational goals.

• Identify, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers locally and abroad to ensure quality, cost-effectiveness, and timely delivery.
• Develop and maintain supplier relationships, including onboarding and performance tracking.
• Prepare and process purchase orders, contracts, and procurement documentation.
• Maintain accurate procurement records and databases. (e.g., supplier lists, pricing, delivery schedules).
• Analyze purchasing data to identify cost-saving opportunities and improve procurement strategies.
• Generate reports on procurement performance, supplier metrics, and inventory trends.
• Work closely with finance, warehouse, and operations teams to align purchasing with inventory and budget goals.
• Support demand planning and forecasting activities through data insights.
• Ensure procurement activities comply with company policies and ethical standards.

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field.
• Proven 3-5 years of experience in Procurement, Sourcing, Supply Chain, or related roles.
• Strong analytical skills and proficiency in Excel or procurement software (e.g., SAP, Oracle)
• Knowledge of international sourcing, trade regulations, and logistics.
• Excellent negotiation, communication, and organizational skills.
