Job Summary:

Responsible for developing, improving, and standardizing food products aligned with company requirements and market trends. The role focuses on product innovation, recipe development, cost optimization, and ensuring consistency in quality for commercial production.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop new recipes and food products based on business needs and market trends
  • Conduct product testing, trials, and sensory evaluations
  • Standardize recipes, portioning, and preparation procedures
  • Ensure product consistency, quality, and compliance with food safety standards
  • Collaborate with Production, QA, and Supply Chain teams for product rollout
  • Perform cost analysis and optimize recipes for profitability
  • Source and evaluate raw materials and ingredients
  • Maintain documentation of formulations, processes, and product specifications
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives for existing products
Qualifications
  • Graduate of Culinary Arts, Food Technology, or related field
  • Proven experience as an R&D Chef or similar role in food manufacturing or commissary setup
  • Strong knowledge of food safety standards (HACCP, GMP)
  • Experience in recipe standardization and large-scale production
  • Creative with strong attention to detail
  • Good communication and collaboration skills
