R&D Chef
o Create, test, and refine new Filipino dishes across appetizers, mains, desserts, and beverages.
o Modernize traditional recipes while preserving cultural integrity and flavor profiles.
o Develop seasonal and regional menu concepts inspired by Filipino heritage.
o Collaborate with purchasing and kitchen teams to source authentic, cost-effective ingredients.
o Innovate cooking techniques to improve efficiency without compromising quality.
o Work closely with Marketing to align product launches with campaigns
o Partner with operations to ensure feasibility and scalability of new dishes
o Contribute to food safety and quality assurance initiatives
o Conduct food tasting, customer feedback sessions, and competitor benchmarking
o Prepare SOPs, recipe cards, and plating guides for new items
o Train kitchen staff on new recipes and techniques
Qualifications- Proven experience as an R&D Chef, Head Chef, or Culinary Innovator (Filipino cuisine preferred).
- Deep knowledge of regional Filipino dishes, ingredients, and cooking methods.
- Culinary degree or equivalent hands-on experience.
- Strong documentation and training skills.
- Creative mindset with a respect for tradition.
