Wok Chef

About the role

As a Wok Chef at MKS WORKFORCE MANAGEMENT SERVICES INC.', you will be responsible for preparing high-quality Asian cuisine in a fast-paced, professional kitchen environment. This full-time role is based in Ortigas Pasig City Metro Manila.

• Expertly prepare a variety of wok-cooked dishes using fresh, high-quality ingredients
• Ensure all dishes are cooked to perfection, meeting strict quality and presentation standards
• Maintain a clean and organised workstation to comply with health and safety regulations
• Collaborate with the wider kitchen team to deliver an exceptional dining experience for customers
• Monitor stock levels and liaise with suppliers to maintain a smooth operation
• Provide training and guidance to junior chefs to develop their wok cooking skills

• Extensive experience as a Wok Chef or similar role within the Hospitality & Tourism industry
• Proven expertise in preparing a wide range of authentic Asian cuisine, with a strong understanding of flavours and techniques
• Excellent time management and multitasking abilities to thrive in a fast-paced kitchen environment
• A keen eye for detail and a commitment to upholding high standards of food quality and presentation
• Strong communication and teamwork skills to collaborate effectively with the wider kitchen team
• Relevant culinary qualifications or training in Chefs/Cooks preferred
