Quality Assurance Manager – Dough Expert

GA HR Consultancy Inc., the accredited headhunter and executive search partner of a growing and highly recognized Quick Service Restaurant (QSR) brand in the Philippines, is currently looking for a highly experienced and quality-driven QUALITY ASSURANCE MANAGER – DOUGH EXPERT.
This opportunity is ideal for a seasoned food manufacturing or commissary professional with strong expertise in dough formulation, dough handling, bakery production quality, and food safety compliance within high-volume food production environments.
The successful candidate will play a critical role in ensuring dough consistency, product quality, operational compliance, food safety excellence, and continuous improvement across commissary and production operations.

What You Will Handle
Dough Quality & Product Consistency- Ensure consistency, quality, and standardization of dough preparation, proofing, fermentation, storage, and handling processes.
- Monitor dough quality parameters including texture, weight, fermentation, temperature, and shelf life.
- Conduct troubleshooting and corrective actions related to dough quality issues.
- Help improve product consistency and operational quality standards.
- Oversee quality assurance and food safety compliance across commissary and production operations.
- Ensure compliance with HACCP, GMP, sanitation, and food safety standards.
- Conduct regular quality audits, inspections, and operational assessments.
- Develop and maintain QA procedures, SOPs, and quality standards.
- Coordinate closely with production, supply chain, operations, and training teams to support quality improvement initiatives.
- Investigate product quality concerns and implement preventive and corrective action plans.
- Support process improvement and operational optimization initiatives.
- Train and coach teams on proper dough handling, food safety procedures, sanitation, and quality standards.
- Help strengthen quality culture and operational discipline across teams.
- Support operational compliance and continuous improvement programs.
- Prepare quality reports, audit findings, KPI analysis, and operational recommendations for management.
- Monitor quality performance indicators and recommend improvement actions.

What We’re Looking For
Education- Bachelor’s Degree in Food Technology, Food Science, Nutrition, Industrial Engineering, or related field.
- At least 5 years of experience in Quality Assurance within bakery, pizza, commissary, manufacturing, or food production operations.
- Strong background in dough production and dough quality management.
- Experience handling food safety compliance, quality audits, and operational quality systems.
- Exposure to high-volume food manufacturing or commissary operations is highly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of dough formulation and troubleshooting.
- Excellent understanding of HACCP, GMP, and sanitation standards.
- Strong analytical and root cause analysis capability.
