Technical and Quality Assurance Supervisor

Job Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with DTI, BPS, and other applicable regulatory requirements for small appliances.
• Participate in regulatory trainings, meetings, and industry events to stay updated on compliance standards and best practices.

• Conduct product sample testing and validation to ensure compliance with quality and safety standards.
• Document findings and recommend improvements before product ordering or development.
• Investigate customer-reported issues and coordinate corrective actions with the technical team to improve product reliability.

• Review factory audit reports and pre-shipment inspections to verify supplier and product compliance.
• Coordinate with Supply Chain/Product Sourcing teams to address quality and compliance concerns.

• Maintain technical documentation, testing procedures, and user/product manuals.
• Provide technical guidance to Sales and Service teams to ensure accurate product information and effective customer support.
• Troubleshoot recurring technical issues and recommend effective solutions.

• Collaborate with Product Sourcing, Importation, Sales, Creatives, and QA teams to support product quality and compliance objectives.

• Stay updated on appliance technologies, industry standards, and best practices to support process improvement and product innovation.

• Candidate must be a graduate of Engineering or any technical-related course.
• At least 5 years of experience in Quality Assurance, Product Compliance, Technical Services, or related functions, preferably in the appliance industry.
• Knowledge of DTI, BPS, and other Philippine regulatory requirements related to small appliances is a strong advantage.
• Experience in product testing, inspection, troubleshooting, and quality control processes.
• Familiarity with supplier audits, pre-shipment inspections, and compliance documentation.
• Strong technical understanding of small appliances and related product standards.
• Proficient in preparing technical reports, manuals, and documentation.
• Good communication and coordination skills with the ability to work cross-functionally with internal and external teams.
• Detail-oriented, organized, and capable of handling multiple projects within timelines.
• Strong analytical, decision-making, and leadership skills.
• Proficient in MS Office applications (e.g., Word, Excel).
• Willing to work full onsite in Makati.
