ACCOUNTING SUPERVISOR (urgent)
About the role
We are seeking an Accounting Supervisor to join our dynamic team at TRIMARK GROUP HOLDINGS INC.' in our Bonifacio Global City, Taguig City, Metro Manila office. In this full-time role, you will play a crucial part in overseeing our accounting functions and ensuring financial reporting accuracy and compliance.
What you'll be doing- Supervise and coordinate the day-to-day accounting activities, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger maintenance
- Prepare and review financial statements, reports, and other accounting documents to ensure accuracy and compliance with relevant financial regulations and standards
- Reconcile bank accounts and other financial records, and investigate any discrepancies
- Assist in the development and implementation of accounting policies and procedures to improve efficiency and internal controls
- Provide guidance and training to the accounting team to enhance their skills and knowledge
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure the timely and accurate reporting of financial information
- Stay up to date with changes in accounting regulations and best practices, and recommend appropriate actions
- Degree in Accounting or a related field
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in an accounting supervisory role, preferably in the fashion or retail industry
- Thorough understanding of financial accounting principles, practices, and reporting requirements
- Proficient in the use of accounting software and spreadsheet applications
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
- Proven track record of managing and developing a team of accounting professionals
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification is preferred
