Accounting and Finance Head

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Accounting and Finance Head to oversee the financial operations and reporting for Equicom Solutions Inc', a dynamic company based in Makati City, Metro Manila. This full-time role is pivotal in ensuring the financial health and strategic direction of the organization.

• Manage the full accounting cycle, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and financial reporting
• Prepare and analyse monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements to provide key insights to leadership
• Ensure compliance with all relevant accounting standards, tax regulations, and internal control policies
• Oversee the budgeting and forecasting process, collaborating with department heads to align financial plans with business objectives
• Manage the finance team, providing guidance, mentoring, and professional development opportunities
• Implement effective financial systems and processes to drive operational efficiency
• Partner with senior management to identify and mitigate financial risks
• Participate in strategic decision-making to support the company's growth and profitability

• Qualified accountant with 5+ years of progressive experience in a senior finance role, preferably within the Financial Accounting & Reporting industry
• Strong technical expertise in financial reporting, accounting principles, and financial analysis
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to translate complex financial information into actionable insights
• Hands-on experience in implementing financial systems and improving operational processes
• Proven track record of leading and developing high-performing finance teams
• Thorough understanding of relevant accounting standards, tax regulations, and internal control frameworks
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance, CPA required.
