Senior Accountant / Finance Manager - Makati

About the Role:
We are seeking a Senior Accountant or Finance Manager with proven leadership skills and a strong command of accounting, tax, and compliance to oversee and scale our financial operations nationwide. This is a senior-level position based in Makati, where you will work closely with top management, build and lead a finance team, and ensure the company’s financial health, operational efficiency, and legal compliance across all regions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and review accurate and timely Financial Statements and Cash Flow Reports.
- Oversee collections, payables, and disbursement processes for optimal cash flow.
- Lead the development of the accounting department its people & processes.
- Lead budget setting, cost efficiency programs, and financial monitoring across regions.
- Conduct investment and project evaluations to guide business decisions.
- Ensure full compliance with BIR, SEC, LGUs, and other government agencies.
- File and manage tax reports, permits, and business registrations nationwide.
- Design and implement internal controls and finance SOPs.
- Build and manage a high-performing finance and accounting team.
- Coordinate and support external audits, tax investigations, and legal compliance reviews.
- Serve as a strategic advisor to the CEO and operations heads on financial matters.
- Other related work.
Qualifications:
- CPA preferred; Bachelor’s Degree in Accountancy, Finance, or equivalent.
- Minimum 5 years experience, with at least 1 year in a finance leadership role.
- Deep knowledge of Philippine taxation, BIR filings, SEC and LGU compliance.
- Experience overseeing multi-site or nationwide operations is a strong advantage.
- Proven track record in team-building, process implementation, and systems setup.
- Strong analytical skills and high attention to detail.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software (QuickBooks, SAP, Xero, etc.).
