Techno Global Team is in search of a NOC Technician 1 who can partner with our expanding Irvine NOC Team. The QOS NOC Technician I will be primarily responsible for advanced technical support for both QOS Customers and Internal Operations. This position requires applied abilities and experience to triage, communicate, and resolve complex technical issues.

What you will do:

  • Provide high level technical support and act as the first point of escalations.
  • Must manage phone, email and incident queues according to Service Level Agreements (SLA)
  • Must have strong technical skills with the ability to prioritize and work independently.
  • Adaptability and the ability to learn and grow is critical to this role.
  • Maintaining Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and Service Level Objective (SLOs) on incidents
  • Document all incidents into ITSM (ServiceNow) and ensure proper ownership.
  • Ability to manage vendor/carrier expectations to ensure all SLA’s/SLO’s are adhered to.
  • Monitor network and hardware health through QOS Systems and Tools
  • Communicate and partner with the QOS NOC Team to ensure service delivery is met to the highest of standards.
  • Work directly with customers to help triage, manage and resolve requests or incidents.

What you need to have:

  • Quickly assess and understand customers issues and business impact.
  • Ability to effectively triage complex problems.
  • Hands on experience dealing with incident and escalation management.
  • Knowledge of networking required (OSI model, IP Protocols, IP subnetting, etc.)
  • Understanding of Routing protocols is required (BGP, EIGRP, OSPF, TCP/IP)
  • VLAN configuration and troubleshooting is required.
  • Experience with LogicMonitor, ServiceNow, VeloCloud (VMware) Edge/Orchestrator preferred.
  • Amenable to work on site with shifting schedules (Alabang site)
Additional Requirement
  • CCNA and/or CCNP.
  • Minimum 1 to 3 years working experience in a network environment.
  • Working knowledge of SD-WAN products and services is a plus.
  • Cisco Meraki, Cradle point, Digi, and other switch/routing experience a plus.
