Design Quality Assurance

Responsibilities:

• Partner closely with Graphic Designers, Motion Graphic Animators, and Creative Directors to thoroughly understand campaign goals, visual briefs, and animation objectives
• Review static design concepts and final layouts for typographic alignment, color-proofing, composition balance, image resolution, and strict adherence to brand guidelines
• Review animated content frame-by-frame to verify smooth pacing, correct timing, flawless transitions, proper rendering, asset continuity, kinetic typography accuracy, and synchronization
• Proactively identify, document, and report potential visual flaws, compression artifacts, layering issues, design discrepancies, or technical formatting errors using structured review logs
• Work interactively with the creative team to communicate defect details, troubleshoot file preparation or rendering issues, and verify that all necessary design revisions are flawlessly implemented
• Systematically track and report on design error patterns and quality metrics to identify common studio production issues, helping to streamline creative workflows
• Stay continually updated on the latest graphic design trends, video delivery specs across digital platforms, asset optimization protocols, and creative QA standards
• Communicate directly with clients regarding deliverables, feedback, project requirements, and revisions.
• Explain QA and technical review findings and ensure deliverables meet client expectations.

Qualifications:

• Demonstrated track record in Quality Assurance, Technical Asset Review, or Studio Proofreading specifically within a fast-paced creative agency, design studio, or production house
• Exceptional comprehension and objective problem-solving skills, with a proven ability to maintain absolute visual quality and attention to detail under tight, fast-moving agency deadlines
• Strong understanding of digital production formats (static social layouts, web banner specifications) and video delivery standards (codecs, frame rates, and export dimensions for various platforms)
• Must be amenable to work ONSITE, Monday-Friday, 9AM-6PM

Technical Tools and Core Skills:

• Solid familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite (specifically After Effects, Photoshop, and Illustrator) and collaborative design platforms like Figma and Canva to effectively inspect native files, design layers, and vector assets
• Visual Regression Testing, Frame-by-Frame Video Review, Asset Inspection (file sizes, safe zones, aspect ratios), Typographic Auditing, Color-Proofing, and Pixel-Perfect Precision
• Proficiency with workflow and asset-review tools (e.g., Frame.io, ClickUp, Jira, Asana, or equivalent collaboration platforms)
• Native comfort operating inside a macOS environment
