Develop and implement production schedules to meet customer demands while minimizing costs, coordinating with procurement and logistics for timely material availability. Allocate human, material, and financial resources efficiently, manage inventory levels, and optimize workforce performance to prevent under stocking or overstocking.
Maintain product quality standards, conduct inspections, and implement corrective actions to address defects.
Analyze production methods, identify inefficiencies, and adopt new techniques or technologies to enhance productivity and reduce costs.
Supervise production teams, conduct meetings, provide training, and ensure adherence to safety and compliance regulations.
Ensure operations comply with government, environmental, and industry regulations, and maintain safety programs.
Monitor production metrics, evaluate performance against targets, and report to senior management.
Qualifications/Requirements- Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related fields; advanced degrees or certifications are advantageous.
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes, quality control, inventory management, and production software tools.
- Ability to manage teams, coordinate across departments, and communicate effectively with staff and senior management.
- Capable of addressing workflow issues, adapting to supply chain disruptions, and implementing process improvements.
- Competence in performance analysis, budgeting, and resource optimization.
- Proven leadership, communication, decision-making, and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage multidisciplinary production teams.
