Strategic Accounts Manager - Medical Devices

Key responsibilities
- Develop and implement strategic account plans for key healthcare facilities and medical institutions
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with hospital administrators, procurement officers and medical device decision-makers
- Identify, qualify and pursue new business opportunities within assigned territories
- Conduct product demonstrations and presentations to prospective and existing clients
- Negotiate contracts and terms with healthcare facilities to maximise profitability
- Monitor account performance and provide regular reporting on sales metrics and pipeline progress
- Collaborate with clinical specialists and technical teams to address client requirements and concerns
- Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and industry standards in all account activities
- Build and mentor junior sales staff as required, sharing best practices and industry insights
- Attend industry conferences and networking events to strengthen market presence
- 2+ years of proven sales experience, preferably in the medical devices or healthcare industry
- Demonstrated success in managing strategic accounts and achieving sales targets
- Strong understanding of medical device products, healthcare procurement processes and regulatory requirements
- Excellent communication, negotiation and relationship-building skills
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Sales, Healthcare Administration or a related field
- Willingness to travel within the assigned territory as required
