Accounting Supervisor

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Secures financial operations by monitoring and approving financial processing, reporting, and auditing.
• Approves cash disbursements by verifying check amounts against invoices, and authorizing checks and wire transfers.
• Approves ledger entries by auditing transactions.
• Prepares asset, liability, and capital account entries by compiling and analyzing account information.
• Summarizes the current financial status by collecting information and preparing balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and other reports.
• Substantiates financial transactions by auditing documents.
• Reconciles financial discrepancies by collecting and analyzing account information.
• Supports annual audits by providing information and answers to auditors.
• Review of reports such as bank reconciliation reports, revenue audit report, cash position reports, aging of AR and AP, inventory, and other significant accounts of the company.
• Responsible for the preparation of BIR Returns (VAT, ITR, withholding tax and compensation, etc)
• Handles BIR FS Audit
• Monitor the day-to-day financial operations within the company, such as payroll, invoicing, and other transactions.
• Ensures compliance to various accounting/financial report requirements to regulatory/statutory reports

Qualifications:

• Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy
• Certified Public Accountant (CPA)License is preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and has working knowledge in computerized accounting systems (SAP)
• With exposure in all facets of Accounting and Finance is an advantage.
• Working knowledge of all statutory legislation and regulations, BIR rulings
• Proficient technical skills and understanding of Philippine Financial Reporting Standards (PFRS).
• Dedicated and meticulous with high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Demonstrate strong time management skills, result-driven.
• With unquestioned integrity and with high leadership potential.
• Exposure in distribution operations is a plus.

• Willing to work in Cagayan de Oro City.
