About the role
As the Security Manager - Retail at Isetann Department Store, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and security of our retail stores and personnel. This full-time position is based in Quiapo Manila City Metro Manila and will involve leading a team of security professionals to safeguard our assets, customers, and employees.
What you'll be doing- Developing and implementing comprehensive security strategies and protocols for our retail locations
- Overseeing the recruitment, training, and management of the security team
- Conducting regular security audits and risk assessments to identify and mitigate potential threats
- Liaising with local law enforcement and emergency services to maintain effective response plans
- Analysing security data and incidents to identify trends and areas for improvement
- Ensuring compliance with all relevant security regulations and industry standards
- Fostering a culture of safety and security awareness among our retail staff
- Substantial experience in a similar security management role, preferably within the retail industry
- Proven track record of developing and implementing effective security strategies and policies
- Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a security team
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with a keen eye for detail
- Thorough understanding of relevant security regulations, risk management principles, and industry best practices
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise with various stakeholders
- Relevant certifications or training in security management or related fields
