Security Delivery Governance Lead (Senior Manager Level)
About the Role
We are seeking a Security Managed Services Practitioner to deliver and manage security services across client environments, ensuring protection, compliance, and operational resilience. This role plays a senior leadership position in governing security delivery, enforcing risk and compliance standards, and ensuring security controls are consistently applied across operations.
As a senior delivery professional, you will act as a subject matter expert (SME), leading teams, driving delivery decisions, and contributing to strategic security outcomes. You will collaborate with multiple teams to assess security needs, implement governance frameworks, and resolve complex security challenges that impact multiple delivery units.
Key Responsibilities
Security Service Delivery & Governance- Deliver and manage security services across client environments, ensuring compliance with security governance, risk, and regulatory requirements.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of implemented security controls and measures, recommending improvements as needed.
- Ensure consistent adherence to security frameworks, policies, and delivery governance standards across teams.
- Act as an SME in Security Delivery Governance, providing expert guidance across delivery teams.
- Take accountability for team-level decisions, ensuring alignment with organizational security and risk objectives.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute to key operational and delivery decisions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to assess security needs and translate requirements into delivery solutions.
- Provide solutions to complex security and governance issues that apply across multiple teams and environments.
- Support strategic decision-making processes related to security operations and delivery governance.
- Lead, manage, and coach teams to drive performance and delivery excellence.
- Facilitate training sessions to enhance team knowledge and skills in security governance, risk management, and compliance standards.
- Foster a collaborative environment focused on continuous learning and improvement.
- Develop, maintain, and govern documentation related to security policies, procedures, and delivery standards.
- Support security assessments, audits, and reviews through accurate documentation and reporting.
- Expert proficiency in Security Delivery Governance.
- Strong understanding of risk management frameworks and compliance standards.
- Proven experience in developing and implementing security policies and procedures.
- Proficiency in conducting security assessments and audits.
- Familiarity with incident response and crisis management protocols.
- Minimum 7 years of experience in Security Delivery Governance.
- Demonstrated leadership experience managing teams and contributing to delivery and operational decisions.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to provide scalable security solutions across multiple teams and client environments.
- Comfortable operating in complex, compliance-driven delivery environments.
