Site mechanical engineer

Supervise and monitor daily site mechanical works
- Ensure proper installation of piping systems, steel structures, and equipment
- Coordinate with engineers, contractors, and project teams on-site
- Review and interpret mechanical drawings and plans
- Ensure compliance with project specifications, safety standards, and quality requirements
- Prepare and submit reports on project progress and site activities
- Assist in planning, scheduling, and execution of mechanical works
- Conduct site inspections and resolve technical issues as they arise
- Ensure proper documentation, including method statements and work procedures
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering
- PRC Registered Mechanical Engineer
- 3–5 years of relevant work experience in mechanical engineering
- Experience in piping installation
- Experience in steel structure erection
- Experience in surge tank erection
- Experience in erection of static and rotating equipment
- Knowledge of ASME Codes and Standards (including ASME Section VIII)
- Familiarity with API Standards (e.g., API 650, API 670, etc.)
- Proficient in AutoCAD
- Basic knowledge of construction scheduling
- Experience in preparing method statements
