Job Summary
The Farm Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the maintenance and repair of all farm equipment, machinery, electrical systems, and infrastructure. This role ensures the farm operates efficiently and safely by implementing preventive maintenance, managing maintenance staff, and coordinating repairs to minimize downtime and optimize farm operations.
Requirements- Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Ior related course
- At least 2 years of experience in maintenance supervision, preferably in poultry farm or industrial operations
- Strong knowledge of farm machinery, electrical systems, ventilation, pumps, and motor controls
- Familiarity with preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and safety standards
- Leadership, team management, and training skills
- Strong problem-solving, decision-making, and organizational skills
- Good communication skills
- Willingness to stay on-site at the farm
- Supervise and lead the farm maintenance team, ensuring all tasks are completed efficiently and safely
- Plan, coordinate, and implement preventive maintenance programs to minimize equipment downtime
- Inspect, repair, and maintain electrical, mechanical, and ventilation systems
- Ensure feeding, watering, and other critical farm systems are fully operational
- Maintain accurate maintenance records, reports, and documentation of all repairs and servicing
- Identify and recommend improvements in farm infrastructure and equipment performance
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols, operational standards, and regulatory requirements
