Job Title: Business Unit Controller

(CPA Required)

Salary Range: ₱80,000 - ₱130,000

Job Description

A leading premium retail and wellness group of companies in the Philippines is urgently seeking a meticulous and highly assertive Financial Controller to lead our business unit's financial management team.

Reporting directly to the Chief Operating Officer (COO) and Finance Director, you will safeguard company assets, optimize cash flow, and ensure bulletproof governance and financial reliability across our business entities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Financial Control & Compliance: Enforce robust internal controls and corporate policies; ensure 100% adherence to GAAP and government regulations.
• Audit & General Ledger Integrity: Oversee the accuracy and reliability of the general ledger system modules and conduct strict operational compliance tests.
• Cash & Treasury Management: Manage banking relationships, track investments, monitor liquidity, and mitigate foreign currency risks.
• Team Leadership: Manage and mentor a focused team of 2–3 finance professionals (Supervisor and Associates).

Qualifications:

• Must possess a Bachelor’s Degree in Accountancy and an active CPA license.
• Minimum of 5 years of solid experience in financial control, corporate accounting, or internal/external audit.
• Assertive mindset with the confidence to challenge decisions not in the company’s best interests.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English and Filipino.
• Willing to work onsite daily in Libis, Quezon City.
