Audit assistant

Job Description

• Lead and manage external audit engagements, ensuring compliance with IFRS and other relevant standards.
• Be the in charge of the audit engagement to execute from planning till completion.
• Ensure timely and accurate completion of audit assignments.
• Communicate effectively with the client facing team and audit team members.
• Utilize proficiency in Excel and other audit-related systems to enhance audit processes and efficiency.
• Foster a collaborative and positive team environment.

• Project management skills: Independent and self-disciplined. The ability to work with and manage different stakeholders effectively.
• Attention to detail: Being meticulous and thorough in reviewing financial documents and identifying discrepancies is essential for accuracy in audits.
• CPA or equivalent certification is highly preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in external auditing (industry other than financial services), with Big 4 experience being a plus.
• Strong proficiency in Excel and general systems.
• Excellent English communication skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills: The ability to clearly and effectively communicate with clients and team members.
• Time management: Efficiently managing time and prioritizing tasks to meet deadlines is important in a fast-paced audit environment.
• Adaptability: Being flexible and open to change, as well as the ability to quickly adapt to new situations and environments

• Curiosity and eagerness to learn: A willingness to continuously learn and stay updated with industry standards and best practices
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Knowledge of accounting software such as Xero or equivalent is a plus
• Knowledge of Korean is a significant advantage
