SALES CONSULTANT (BEAUTY & FRAGRANCE ADVISOR)
The Sales Consultant is responsible for delivering an exceptional customer experience by assisting clients in selecting skincare, makeup, and fragrance products that best suit their needs. This role ensures customer satisfaction through personalized recommendations, product knowledge, and professional service.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Greet customers promptly and courteously upon arrival
- Engage customers through effective questioning to understand their needs, preferences, and concerns
- Provide personalized recommendations on cosmetics, skincare, and fragrance products
- Demonstrate proper product usage and application techniques
- Apply or assist customers in testing makeup and skincare products, ensuring hygiene and safety standards are followed
- Promote and cross-sell complementary products and accessories
- Accurately process sales transactions and handle payments
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the sales area
- Monitor stock levels and replenish merchandise as needed
Qualifications:
- A graduate of Bachelor’s Degree in any field
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a beauty retail industry
- Excellent interpersonal skills to connect with customers and offer personalized advice
- Previous retail, sales, or customer service experience, particularly in cosmetics
- Strong familiarity with skin types, makeup application, and beauty brands
- Basic knowledge in operating a Point of Sale (POS) system
