Summary

The Sales Manager – Events & Catering is responsible for driving revenue growth through the acquisition, development, and management of event and catering accounts. He/She will actively source, negotiate, and close business opportunities for private functions, corporate events, weddings, and outside catering services while ensuring exceptional client experiences consistent with a 5-Star restaurant standard.

Sales & Business Development
  • Develop and execute sales strategies to meet and exceed revenue targets for events and catering.
  • Identify and build relationships with corporate clients, event planners, wedding coordinators, and other potential partners.
  • Respond promptly to inquiries, prepare proposals/quotations, and conduct negotiations to close business deals.
  • Conduct regular market research to identify trends, competitor activities, and opportunities for new business.
Event & Catering Management
  • Coordinate with the Operations, Kitchen, and Service teams to ensure seamless execution of events and catering services.
  • Conduct client meetings, site inspections, and menu tastings to finalize event details.
  • Oversee event contracts, payment schedules, and post-event evaluations.
  • Ensure all events reflect the brand’s image of luxury and excellence.
Client Relationship Management
  • Maintain strong relationships with existing clients to encourage repeat business and referrals.
  • Provide personalized, high-quality service to ensure client satisfaction before, during, and after events.
  • Handle guest concerns and resolve issues promptly in line with company standards.
Reporting & Compliance
  • Prepare weekly and monthly sales reports, forecasts, and pipeline updates for management review.
  • Monitor sales performance against KPIs and take corrective action when needed.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, contracts, and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, Marketing, or related field.
  • Minimum of 3–5 years of proven sales experience in a 4- or 5-Star hotel, fine dining, or high-end restaurant, with a focus on events and catering.
  • Strong network of corporate, social, and wedding clients is highly desirable.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure, handle multiple events, and meet tight deadlines.
  • Proficiency in MS Office; knowledge of CRM systems is an advantage.
  • Professional appearance and demeanor suitable for luxury hospitality.
